I have been a tutor, teacher, and writing coach my whole life. Through a carefully individualized process, I work with students to strengthen their thinking, develop their writing, and gain confidence in their academic abilities.

With a BA from Harvard and an MA in Education from Columbia, I taught both middle and high school history for fourteen years at the Horace Mann School, and I have worked one-on-one with students at a wide range of independent and public schools in New York City, as well as with scholars writing articles in the fields of psychology and law.
Today, I work primarily with high school students via Zoom, helping them with analytical writing in history and English, long-term academic development, and the college essay process.
